Katie Willis

After graduating from the University of Washington School of Law and passing the bar exam to become a licensed attorney, Katie did a major career pivot to start training dogs full-time.

In addition to being an instructor at Four Paw, she is the Head Trainer at Zoom Room Seattle and teaches in-home private lessons through her business, Katie's K9 Training. She has experience working with aggression and behavior modification cases as well as teaching obedience, agility, scentwork, tricks, rally, and treibball. She is an AKC CGC & Trick Title Evaluator, a Certified Trick Dog Instructor, and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed.

She joined the Four Paw team in January 2024 because she absolutely loves and can't get enough of dog sports! The dog that started it all is her Samoyed pup, Ghost. In her free time, they can be found together out on a run or a hike or at a lure coursing event, training a new trick, or practicing dog parkour, barn hunt, draft carting, herding, scentwork, or agility.
