Control Unleashed
  • Control Unleashed - For dogs 7 months or older who have completed a puppy or dog manners class. Understanding of positive reinforcement training is beneficial. Class meets weekly for 6 weeks.  (Maximum 4 dogs)
Turn stress into confidence and distraction into focus.  Build your dog’s ability to relax, focus and work reliably in either stimulating or stressful situations through the use of training games that increase attention, reduce the power of stressors and the pull of distractions while you and your dog have fun in a friendly, safe and supportive environment.

Based on the award winning book, Control Unleashed, by Leslie McDevitt, this class is every bit as applicable to the pet dog owner hoping to improve their control and enjoy more off-leash activities as to the dog sports competitor looking to strengthen their dog's foundation and raise their performance game to the next level!   Cost: $195

Reactive Rover Class
  • Reactive Rover - Does your dog bark, growl and lunge at other dogs or people on walks?  You’re not alone.

Learn management, skills and techniques to walk your dog more peacefully.  Build your dog’s ability to stay calm in the presence of other dogs.  You will learn a lot about your dog’s body language is telling you and how to listen to it, techniques for teaching your dog to relax, exercises and games to help change behavior around other dogs, and how to manage walks to reduce the reactions, and how to keep your dog’s attention.

You will also get to meet and share experiences with other dog owners experiencing similar issues, both in class and through our private Facebook page.

First class meeting will be discussion of the dogs situations, triggers, avoidance, etc. and will not include a lot of work with the dogs. We expect to at least evaluate each dog individually.  A Dog Information form submission is required to complete before coming to class. Class meets weekly for 6 weeks.  Maximum 4 dogs per class.                    Cost: $215
